Stuart Camp Emeritus
Stuart Camp was the Christchurch Office Manager until his retirement in May 2016. Stuart first joined Marshall Day Acoustics as a graduate in 1983, forming a core part of what was then our only office in Auckland. In 1991, he moved overseas to establish an office for the company in Kuala Lumpur. After 5 years in Malaysia, he returned to New Zealand, and set up the Christchurch office in 1997.
Stuart’s broad experience and pragmatism ensured that he was in constant demand for presenting evidence at council and Environment Court hearings. Stuart has experience in many project sectors including building acoustics, performing arts, and environmental noise. In recent years, he strengthened the company’s work in acoustic policy and planning areas, and was responsible for developing our market in the marine noise control arena.
Stuart still has some involvement in Marshall Day Acoustics but is also taking time to enjoy travelling the country in his larger double-decker motorhome, wood-turning and working on his various DIY projects in his shed.
