Steve Arden
Steve Arden is a Consultant with the Wellington office specialising in architectural acoustics, environmental acoustics and acoustical modelling. His career as an acoustic consultant has seen him obtain extensive experience in all aspects of architectural acoustic design and environmental assessments including room acoustics, sound insulation, mechanical services and environmental noise emissions control. Steve is an expert computer modeller for both architectural and environmental applications.
His experience has been spread across a variety of sectors; including, but not limited to, entertainment, medical, educational, judicial, defence, residential and transportation sectors.
Steve joined Marshall Day Acoustics in 2011, working from the Wellington office. Originally from the UK, Steve graduated from University of Reading in December 2005 with a Distinction in his MSc which focused on acoustic wave modelling. Following completion of the Post Graduate Diploma in Acoustic and Noise Control, Steve worked in the UK as an Acoustic Consultant with Capita Symonds in (2007—2010).
