Sato Koyama

Sato is a consultant working in the Wellington office. He started as an intern in 2023 and joined as a consultant after graduating from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons).

His final year involved multiple acoustic projects such as researching meta-materials, developing duct jacket attenuators, and creating tools for analysing room acoustics.

Sato works in all facets of acoustics, involving himself in building, environmental, and room acoustics. He has also been involved with virtual auralisation spaces for interactive acoustic demonstrations.

Sato enjoys taking photos in his spare time.
