Kevin Prosée
Kevin joined Marshall Day in 2004 following over seventeen years of involvement in mechanical engineering related to water and wastewater reticulation and general engineering consulting work. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer and a Member of The Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand Incorporated (IPENZ).
Since joining Marshall Day Kevin's activities have focused on the preparation of Assessments of Environmental Effects for projects such as schools, community and early childhood education facilities, geothermal exploration, quarries, cell phone cabinet installations and many other industrial and commercial activities, and noise measurement surveys for small to large scale activity including geothermal drilling, hydro power generation, quarries, factories and transformer installations.
Kevin also has experience in vibration measurement, OSH noise exposure investigations, building sound insulation and advanced noise modelling techniques using SoundPLAN computer software. He has presented expert evidence at a number of Local Authority Resource Management Act application hearings.
Since 2004, Kevin has gained a diversity of experience in acoustical consultancy and has developed skills in several project sectors including building acoustics, and environmental noise modelling, measurement and assessment.
