Juan Óscar García
Juan Óscar works as an acoustic engineer in the French office, specialising in room acoustics for the performing arts. He is a professionally qualified telecommunications engineer with a master’s in acoustic engineering and has worked in the field of acoustics since 2013.
Before joining Marshall Day in 2019, he worked at Kahle Acoustics in Brussels (Belgium) for 5 years, specialising in acoustics for the performing arts, and then at VK Engineering as a specialist in room acoustics and as part of the Computational Design group.
He has been a Lecturer in Architectural Acoustics at the Conservatory of Music and Arts, Arts2 in Mons and participated as a lecturer in room acoustics, presented workshops in parametric design and co-directed an end-of-degree thesis at his home university in Spain.
Juan Óscar is an accomplished acoustic-oriented software developer in Rhino 3D and Grasshopper and is an expert in 3D and Computational Design.
