Eureka Tower is a 297.3-metre (975 ft) skyscraper located in Southbank, Melbourne. It is Melbourne’s tallest residential building, comprising of 84 floors that offer accommodation and standing at over 90 storeys in total. At the building’s completion, it was the tallest residential tower in the world.

The project was designed by Melbourne architectural firm Fender Katsalidis Architects and was built by Grocon (Grollo Australia).

The observation deck (Eureka Skydeck 88) occupies the entire 88th floor of the Eureka Tower and is the highest public vantage point in a building in the Southern Hemisphere at 285 m (935 ft). It opened to the public on 15 May 2007.

Scope of Services

Marshall Day was engaged by Nation Fender Katsilidis for a full acoustic design service for the entire duration of the project, including the acoustic design of the building envelope, inter-tennancy partitions, floor impact noise and building services noise control. We also designed reverberation control treatment within the restaurants and foyers associated with the development.
