This AUD $50 m development comprised 189 apartments, over 17 storeys, alongside retail, food and beverage tenancies. A residents gymnasium and rooftop terrace was also provided.
Scope of Services
The site is located on Melbourne’s busy Flinders Street and is subject to noise from trams, trains and road traffic, as well as the local buzz of Melbourne’s nightlife. The building‘s façade was acoustically engineered to control noise and provide appropriate internal amenity for residents.
Marshall Day’s scope included the provision of acoustic design advice, site noise measurement, review of hydraulic and mechanical services design, and glazing specification.
